All the team at Young Irish Film Makers extend hearty congratulations to the very first graduates of the YIFM LTI Digital Media, QQI Level 4 Course.
On Thursday 16th March, our class of 2016 once again returned to our studios to be granted their certificates by Mary Butler, Training Services manager at the Kilkenny Carlow ETB.
Also in attendance at the event were YIFM’s Helen Curtin (LTI Coordinator), Paul Curran (LTI Assistant Coordinator), Mike Kelly (YIFM Founder), Stephen Murphy of the Father McGrath Family Resource Centre, Bernie Eccles (Kilkenny Carlow ETB) and Kevin O’Shea (Kilkenny Carlow ETB).
“The graduation of young people at this level is always something special.  This group of students are the first to complete the Digital Media course at Young Irish Film Makers and they have really set a high standard for the future.  I am personally delighted with the outcomes for these young people and hope to see them thrive as a result of their time here.  “A huge thank you must go to Helen Curtin and Paul Curran the course coordinators and all the team at the Kilkenny Carlow Education Training Board.”  – Garry McHugh (Director of Young Irish Film Makers)
