Young Irish Film Makers (YIFM) is a National Organisation responsible for youth arts and youth development programmes run across Ireland. YIFM is a non profit organisation (Company limited by guarantee, CRO No. 252206) and is a registered charity with the Charity Regulators Authority (CRA No. 20054120 – CHY 15576).

Young Irish Film Makers are now compliant with the Governance Code: a Code of Practice for Good Governance of Community, Voluntary and Charitable Organisations in Ireland.

All Community, Voluntary and Charitable (CVC) Organisations have a responsibility to provide and follow a code of good practice when it comes to how their organisations are run. It is our responsibility as the people who run the organisation, the YIFM Board of Management – to make sure this happens.

YIFM is a well run organisation which aims to demonstrate our high standards of governance to their stakeholders. As a youth development organisation we run in accordance with the National Quality Standards Framework for youth work, set out by the Dept. of Children and Youth Affairs.
We at YIFM have taken the journey towards full compliance with Governance Code – which has been created for the sector by the sector. For more information you can go to www.governancecode.ie/
