We are delighted to bring our engaging and interactive workshops young people enjoy in the YIFM Studios in Kilkenny. So why not try a summer camp with a difference this year? At Young Irish Film Makers (YIFM) you can make your own movie in a week, meet new friends and have lots of fun too.
Now running for over 12years, YIFM Summer Film Camps have proven extremely popular with young people from all over Ireland. It is a unique space where young people are supported and facilitated to devise, shoot and edit their own films. From the creation of a story idea to the screening of their finished film, young people are guided through the magic and fun of making a movie.
And we hold a Movie Premiere at the end of the week for family and friends to come along and enjoy their masterpiece up on the big screen!
Summer Film Camps run Monday to Friday – 9:00am – 5:00pm
Parent or Guardian must accompany their young person between 8:30am – 9:00am on the first day of the camp to sign in.
July 3-7 (9am-5pm from Monday to Friday)
July 10-14 (9am-5pm from Monday to Friday)
July 17-21 (9am-5pm from Monday to Friday)
July 24-28 (9am-5pm from Monday to Friday)
