FILMMAKING SUMMER CAMPS AGES 10 -16yrs

We are delighted to bring our engaging and interactive workshops young people enjoy in the YIFM Studios in Kilkenny.  Why not try a summer camp with a difference this year?  At Young Irish Film Makers (YIFM) you will make a short film, a 10 shot and a one shot all in a week, meet new friends and have lots of fun too.

Now running for over 13 years, YIFM Summer Film Camps have proven extremely popular with young people from all over Ireland.  It is a unique space where young people are supported and facilitated to devise, shoot and edit films together.  From the creation of a story idea to the screening of their finished film, young people are guided through the magic and fun of making a movie.  

And we hold a Movie Premiere at the end of the week for family and friends to come along and enjoy their masterpiece up on the big screen! 

Young people will be grouped together according to age 10 – 12 yrs / 13 – 16 yrs

Week 3 – 14th – 18th July

Week 4 – 21st – 25th July

TIMES

Monday – 8.30 – 5PM (Registration)

Tuesday – 9 – 5pm

Wednesday – 9 – 5pm

Thursday – 9 – 5pm

Friday – 9 – 5pm
